In this video, I show the internals of the Hoverboard Self Balancing Two Wheel Scooter’s Brush-Less Hub Motor. Impressive design, uses very strong Neodymium magnets. It was very difficult to separate the coils from the hub, due to the magnets being so very strong.
Unfortunately, this was a defective motor, I was able to fix it, however, it did not run at full speed, and was a bit flaky. Put a new one in instead and good to go!
