The unit uses a gyroscope to keep it upright and detects small changes in your balance to determine whether you want to accelerate or brake. The Ninebot is very well built. It’s durable and with its spinning LED light rings, it’s fashionable. The unit comes with 120W standard charger and 320Wh high-capacity battery. To charge, it took around 4 hours. The maximum speed on a full charge was 31km per hour.

The Q5 model has a top speed of 10 mph, and the normal driving speed is eight mph. When the speed goes above eight mph, it will lean slightly backward to make you slow down, and a warning beep is heard. The Q5 can drive up to 20 miles. Airwheel has several safety systems: There are LED lights indicating battery level. When the battery gets below 15%, the air wheel will start beeping and will lean backward to slow down and stop. When it falls over 45° it will turn off the engine and beep. And this unit is IP56 certified which means it can drive in light rain.

The battery can be charged in 120min. 80% charged in 80min. The range of the Q6 is up to 23kms. The Q5 has the same features of the Q5’s. There are LED lights indicating battery level. The Solo wheel consists of a wheel and two foldable foot platforms. The Solo wheel uses gyro sensors, a 1000-Watt motor, and a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery. The company says it charges within an hour, and it is pretty accurate. It’s housed under a durable, yet visually appealing slim case featuring leg pads and a handle for easy carrying. This unit weighs around 25pounds. We were very impressed with how stable it felt going forward and back. It stores energy back to the battery when you slow down or go downhill. The range of the solowheel is up to 23kms.
